It’s May It’s May The merry month of May……Lerner and Lowe CAMELOT
Can you believe it…MAY! Seems like last week we were shoveling snow. Maybe because there was so much snow and we thought spring would never arrive
May is a very important month for lots of reasons for me…birthdays, anniversary’s, celebrations for those who passed in May over the years. AND SusyQtiques officially opened in the Black Shutter Antique Center. A real home, opened May 1..3 years ago!
So to celebrate all those important events for the month of May SusyQtiques will be having a sale on vintage clothing. Items with a RED price will be thru out room 8. Items will be added every week as we go thru May.
Sales are marked in RED and can be 5% to 50% off original prices. No additional discount.
I just returned from a very productive buying trip. My Element has over 70 square feet of space…so I fill it up and bring it all back for YOU
Proms are going on now and in the next several weeks. Looking for a long or short dress for that special night…stop by…I can guarantee no one else will be dressed like you! Guys…there are lots of vintage tux jackets…from the 40s-70′s! You too can have a special look.
When the sun comes out and the warm air arrives to stay…weddings and outdoor parties fill the calendar. So stop by for those very special outfits.
Room 8 is full of women’s vintage clothing and accessories, while Room 7 is men’s vintage clothing and collectibles. I am adding more and more men’s vintage as I find it. Men’s wore there clothing over a longer period of time then women. Styles changed more by decade then every year or so like women’s. So it is harder to find…but I am doing my best to keep the racks full
Next week (May 9) is Mother’s Day so keep her in mind when you stop by. Remember accessories do not need to be a size…and there is a great selection of jewelry in Room 7 and at the counter by the front register.
Polo time is here (you do need a hat when you are watching the ponies) and boy have I filled the room with HATS! That was the number one item on my “to buy” list. And I did buy hats and purses, and dresses and men’s suits and….so much.
Friday May 7 is First Friday in Historic Downtown Leesburg. We are open until 9PM. All around town there will be entertainments of all kinds and for those of you “OLD” enough wine tasting…word is one of the 25 finalist on American Idol will be performing!!!! Always a fun night…so plan to come by and say hi…we usually have cookies.
Recently I had a customer tell me she thought my prices were high…well as you all know SusyQtiques is the best priced vintage clothing in the area. OTHER dealers buy from me and then raise the price for YOU! Quality well priced vintage clothing can always be found in my shop.
I may start a little info thread in the next newsletter…need to think about that.
Just started a web site. SusyQtiques.com…not selling…another place to market and get the word (and pictures) out on SusyQtiques. This is a learning experience for me…so please bare with me and any comments I would greatly appreciate.
A little off topic…My husband’s latest book…Super Aging….the moral dangers of seeking immortality By Mark A Moorstein is finally available at Amazon.com. A great read..if I can say that without prejudice.. I CAN’T! Amazon has it in stock. So check it out!
