May was my 3rd anniversary at the Black Shutter Antique Center…had a sale. It continues thru June. Just look for mark downs in RED…RED…RED!
Recently I was honored to be contacted by the husband of a local artist. His lovely wife passed away last year and she had been a customer of mine. She traveled the world and purchased clothing…vintage and unique…everywhere she went. In this estate are terrific coats, jackets, vests and accessories. All one of a kind pieces….from Thailand, South and Central America and more. These items are not on the racks in room 8, I have a special Nancy’s Nook rack in room 7. Very special items folks. These are priced accordingly.
June 4 is First Friday in Historic Down Town Leesburg. We are open until 9pm. Great things going on…wine tasting, music..entertainment. Just pick up a flyer at the Black Shutter with all the activities.
You may notice that some of the “older” pieces are UP on the back wall. The older the item the rarer, the more it usually costs and the more fragile. Most of my customers are very careful but sometimes that is not enough…so up they go. The ladies at the front can help you…just ask.
Room 7 is overloaded with men’s vintage…packing it in folks. More and more gentlemen have discovered SusyQtiques and realize just how cool vintage clothing on a guy can be. Tuxes, suits, shirts and great hats…all for that guy in your life…spread the word! Even barkcloth swim trunks!
Also in room 7 is a locked case with terrific costume jewelry for gals and even some guys stuff too. I have added some fabulous beaded bags old and OLD! Lots of collectibles from lamps to cocktail shakers.
Remember to check out the front desk cases…lots of jewelry and little things.
This is coming a few days early to let you know…we are open May 30 & 31/ Memorial Day weekend. AND I AM THERE BOTH DAYS!
