Hello lovers of vintage clothing Finally we are getting into the textured fun clothing that only comes with the falling leaves of autumn.
The pastels of summer are getting packed away and the cozy warm and rich colors of fall are popping up on all the racks!
As some of you may know…I was gone for a month this summer. Visiting our first grandbaby out west. Spent a lot of time doing what grandmas do…and I also did some shopping. Never let an opportunity pass to shop for vintage.

The racks in room 8 are filling up with great jackets, sweaters and coats. This takes time and new old stuff comes in every week. I usually work the front desk twice a week and I bring things every time I work.
Homecomings are “coming” or maybe yours is this week…Stop by and check out the long and short dresses. Find the perfect outfit for that special night.
Octoberfests are coming up too. German wear are on the staircase by room 7. Some authentic pieces that would make you the winning Herr or Frau of the party

The Black Shutter Antique Center is open THIS Friday…it is once again FIRST FRIDAY in historic downtown Leesburg. I will be there to help if you need it! So much going on all around town.
AND the Girls Night Out was very successful in September…We are preparing for Girls Night Out for October. Held the third Thursday of the month. This month one of our top costume jewelry vendors will be talking about vintage jewelry and showing how it can be used on your favorite fashions. We are open until 9PM. Stop by for a snack and some great jewelry fun!
