Can you believe it is….NOVEMBER already? Seems like summer just started…heat wave after heat wave…now those cool autumn breezes are ruffling the leaves. Love the fall with the brilliant shades of gold and red as the leaves leave their summer green behind. Time to pull out the woolies and hot chocolate
This has been a busy time for me…2 grandbabies born in the last 3 months. This made me think about the vintage children’s clothing I so seldom put out. Well I have found some vintage for boys and girls and it is hanging in room 7. Room 7 is packed with men’s vintage. The largest selection of men’s vintage in the area. Bringing in those dressy white dinner jackets and tuxes for the Holidays along with warm wool jackets and coats for everyday warmth.
Room 8, Gals vintage, has been rearranged. Separates are the main attraction right now. Skirts, slacks, blouses, sweaters….all ready to be matched up with your present wardrobe or with something vintage. Love love love sweaters. Cannot have enough of them. There are beaded, cashmere, angora, cardigans, pullovers, even sweater sets..from the 50s on thru early 80s.
Of course there are long and short dresses for everyday and partying. FYI…The Black Shutter Antique Center…where SusyQtiques is located, participates in Girls Night Out. This is held the 3rd Thursday of the month. November’s GNO SusyQtiques will be featured with a Little Black Dress Scavenger Hunt. Winner will get a certificate for 50% off any item in Room 7-8…SusyQtiques Open until 9pm!
Most every shop and eatery is open so stop by and have a fun time with your gals pals.
Also this Friday is First Friday in Leesburg so we will be open until 9pm. We will have our favorite Harpist back to play in our front parlor. I cannot be there as I usually am because……the DC Big Flea is this coming weekend and I will be setting up I will be returning to my old space in the South Building(only 1 building this time) in Aisle G! Just look for the lady in VINTAGE! I will have a lot of cool things that I have been collecting over the last 6 months along with items from storage and store.
The Holidays are upon us…stop by for the best selection of Holiday wear for indoors and out. Coats and jackets are filling up racks along with some beautiful vintage furs.
