The year starts off with a bang…or rather the DC BIG FLEA!. Yep the January Big Flea is next weekend. Doors open Saturday 1/8/11 at 9 am-PM again on Sunday 1/9/11 11 am-PM. Although the Holiday Season keeps me busy in the shop….I am always looking out for new and exciting “old” things for you and yours
A the Big Flea I bring about 200 items of clothing for you to peruse. Not counting hats, purses and accessories that is a lot of vintage! Look for me in my regular spot..South Building Aisle G. This time a gal from the Black Shutter is going to share 2 spaces with me. Alice is a very talented “stager” and home decorator and just so much fun So stop by and check us out.
Back at the Black Shutter Antique Center SusyQtiques is open 7 days a week. Winter hours start this Monday until further notice. Monday-Friday 11 am-5 pm. Saturday 10:30 am to 5:30 pm and Sundays noon to 5 pm. Weekends are the same just taking a bit off of the weekdays.
Right now room 8 is full to bursting with winter clothing and accessories. Room 7 has 3 big racks of men’s vintage along with gals winter coats….over flow too A small selection of children’s vintage also. I bought a huge nos lot of clothing from the 70s. Much still in original packages…kids clothing and shoes too!
Men’s vintage has really taken off. Again the best selection in the area at the best price….I went vintage shopping with a friend recently…what an eye opener. Prices were way way way more then what you will pay at SusyQtiques.
Along with the best vintage clothing you will find a great selection of jewelry and collectibles. Come see me…I am usually in the shop Mondays and most Fridays. Always ready to help with your vintage hunt!
