HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Yep another fabulous year is behind me  Another fabulous year starts….with a SALE$

Life is good and business is good…thanks to YOU! So for the entire month of February any item in Rooms 7 and 8 over $25 is 15% off…look for SQ on the tag. Any kind of payment! Even without a sale, SusyQtiques has the best prices on vintage clothing. I just visited a large near by city. I was blown away at the high prices.

The January Big Flea was fun as usual and a fellow dealer and designer came along with some of her unique items…but folks I will not be back to the DC Big Flea until November. So you will just have to come out to Leesburg for your vintage clothing fix

Both rooms are packed with vintage for men and women. Coats, jackets, sweater, skirts…you name it I have filled the rooms with as much merchandise as I can.

The bad weather has been a bummer…there is nothing like a great piece of vintage to brighten your day. But it is winter folks…spring will be here sooner then later…really it will

Susyqtiques as you know is located in the Black Shutter Antique Center in Old Town Leesburg…we are on winter hours now which is not much different then our “normal” hours. Monday thru Friday we are open 11am to 5pm. Saturdays are the same 10:30am to 5:30pm Sundays noon-5pm. THIS Friday is First Friday so we will be open until 9pm. AND I WILL BE THERE! So stop by and enjoy our entertainment and do some “I got the winter blues shopping”

6:30-8:30 Guitar Music. Black Shutter Antiques is featuring acoustic guitarist/vocalist, Ben Hirsch. Ben’s youth was spent studying classical violin, but now he plays and writes folk/rock songs that come from an assortment of influences.

Fellow theatre people, awards shows are coming up and this is the place for your one of a kind evening wear. AND costumers…need help finding period costumes…give me a call or shoot off an email. Let me know your seasons and I can pull things that will work for your actors and your budget.

Now just a “little” side note…Prince William Little Theatre opens its winter production The Wedding Singer…musical Feb 11 for 2 weekends at the new Hylton Performing Arts Center in Prince William County. Yours truly will be playing the role of Rose…grandmother to the lead. Also SusyQtiques has helped costume this 1980s show.

Off to learn lines, sew a few costumes and pack the car with more great vintage pieces to take into work
