Although I have collected and sold vintage clothing for YEARS…I only settled into a shop 4 years ago.
It has been a dream come true to be able to have so many wonderful vintage pieces in 1 place. Thousands of clothing pieces have been in the shop and found happy homes with new lovers and wearers of vintage.
And the good stuff keeps coming folks….every time I come into the shop I bring more and more for your shopping pleasure.
Most everything winter has been moved out and spring rules at SusyQtiques. With Easter and the Royal Wedding this past week hats have been flying off heads…lol..fake heads to real heads that is. Did you see some of those fantastic hats ladies wore to THE wedding? Well, similar hats are in the shop. Then there are some of those hats that NEVER will be in my shop. Maybe on stage if I costume the “The Wild and Weird World of the Mad Hatter” There were a few hum dingers as my grandma use to say in that there church.
With summer on its way you will find the perfect hat…check out displays as you go thru the shop.
Summer is a time to add those sweet accessories such as little gloves, hankies, purses and lovely jewelry. All to finish off your look.
In room 7 I have moved sweaters and blouses to make room for more suits and dresses in room 8. Men’s clothing still fill several racks in room 7 also.
The front case as you come into the Black Shutter has a lot of great jewelry and vintage/antique handbags. More jewelry in room 8 in a case also. Jewelry can…IS…addictive I have found. I love it I buy it I wear it and I sell it…if I can bare to let it go that is.
To celebrate 4 fantastic years…. I have been marking things down. So as you go thru the clothing racks check for tickets with RED mark down prices.
Remember vintage clothing is priced by age and condition. Even New Old Stock is not always perfect…so expect to find things that were loved and need to be loved again.
Open 7 days a week…plus that great First Friday when we are open until 9pm. AND First Friday is this week…stop by I will be working. Love meeting my customers!
