OMGosh…December! Can you believe it? Time sure flies when you are having fun! And I can say I am having the time of my life….providing the areas best vintage clothing for..YOU!
I have been working for weeks getting the shop turned over to winter and cold weather clothes. I even spent Thanksgiving working…not all day, I had to have my 4000 calories of Thankgiving feast.
If you have not been to SQ’s for a while you will see a new layout in room 7. We have 2 full racks of coats, double racks of sweaters/vests and shirts. More men’s clothing! A large selection of BLING for those of you that like to make an entrance…and who doesn’t?
There are short and long dresses, vests and jackets smothered in sequins or beads or BOTH! You can also find lovely Holidaywear without all the bling.
Room 8 is packed to the rafters with slacks, jackets, suits, dresses and all sorts of accessories. If you are shopping for gifts or for your personal use…you will find something you really really need….really you will.
At the front counter there are 3 shelves of great vintage jewelry and accessories. Check it out.
Our book dealer is retiring so I have now added book seller to my duties. So as you come up the staircase you will see 2 large areas of books along with the many collectibles I have gathered. Need cocktail items…we have them. Glassware, aluminum serving pieces, snack sets…the list goes on and on.
You have to see it all to believe it!
Friday December 2 is First Friday in Historic Leesburg. Stop by and see all the great dealers in the Black Shutter Antique Center. We are open until 9pm. There is music all around town, fun times.
