Not sure about you but I have not seen winter yet! So I have been packing the winter coats away and sweaters are getting thinned out. Spring has come and gone and come back again…so light cardigans and spring coats are the ticket now!
March 17 is the biggest day of the year for my family..I mean I grew up in a restaurant family and the place was called The Shamrock Inn for heaven sake…lol So the green is out and about on my staircase and around my rooms. Green goes with everything.
Easter is coming fast…April 8..so hats have been multiplying in shades of pink, and beige and navy …all colors of the rainbow. Check out the large 50s hats in room 1…by the register. I have taken a tall case and have highlighted some of my coolest large 1950′s hats…they are HIGH up so look up when you come in the front door.
In that case I have lots of jewelry, accessories and check the bottom shelf. There are several fantastic Fashion sketches from the late 50s early 60s. Fantastic!
Proms will be here sooner then later so long/maxi dresses will be turning over a lot in the next couple months…check them out.
I came upon a nice selection of deadstock shoes from the 1940′s-50′s. Handbags in all shapes and sizes..even a coconut bag.
Along with everything you want to “wear” in vintage…check out the collectibles in room 7 and suitcases on the back staircase. A little of this and a little of that…SusyQtiques has it…so come on down while the selection is still terrific!
This Friday March 2 is First Friday in old town Leesburg…open until 9pm
